Our Story

We're Eva Ratfeldere and Peter Clark — a Latvian-British couple who know firsthand the joys and challenges that come with cross-cultural relationships. Our personal journey, combined with many years of professional experience in therapy, led us to create Win-Win Therapy: a space for couples to grow, connect, and thrive together.

The idea for Win-Win Therapy began during international workshops on couple therapy. After hearing time and again, "What you do is so helpful — you should work with couples together!", we felt inspired to offer something new. That encouragement sparked this shared project, grounded in collaboration, care, and a fresh perspective on what it means to be in a relationship.

We've now been working together for over a year, and the feedback from our clients has been overwhelmingly positive. Hearing how our sessions have helped couples better understand each other and strengthen their connection continues to inspire and motivate us every day.

Our approach is structured yet personal. We help couples explore their challenges, understand each other more deeply, and build stronger, healthier relationships. At the heart of it all is one clear goal: a win for both partners.

To us, a "win-win" relationship isn't about giving in or keeping score — it's about creating something meaningful together, where each person feels supported, respected, and fulfilled. We bring this belief into every session.

And it's not just about our clients — it's about us, too. Each time we witness a couple finding new understanding, or both partners walking away feeling heard and hopeful, that's a win for us. This mutual growth is why we do what we do. It's what makes this work so rewarding.

A win for each partner is a win for the relationship — and a joy for us to witness.

Meet the Team

Eva Ratfeldere

Eva is a qualified psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience working with individuals and couples. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in existential therapy, which emphasizes personal responsibility, authenticity, and the freedom to shape one's own life. Eva values creating a space where each client is met as a unique individual, and where therapy becomes a collaborative journey toward deeper self-understanding and meaningful change.

While she continues to work with individual clients, Eva has developed a strong interest in couple therapy, particularly with partners from different cultural backgrounds. She believes that intimate relationships hold great potential not only for connection and growth, but also for healing relational wounds carried from the past.

Working in English and drawing from her own cross-cultural experience, Eva brings both professional expertise and personal insight into the challenges and richness of multicultural relationships.

Peter Clark

Peter complements Eva's expertise by bringing his own valuable insights into the sessions. With a long career as a horticulturist, Peter has trained and mentored countless individuals, developing a deep understanding of personal growth and interpersonal dynamics. Now transitioning into a coaching career, Peter continues to expand his knowledge and apply his experience to help others thrive.

In therapy sessions, he provides meaningful observations, asks impactful questions, and shares relevant life experiences. Together, this collaboration creates a well-rounded and supportive dynamic for clients.
